Born in London.
Ms. Israel-Kolatt Is the director of the successful IMVAJ international summer course for singers which takes place in Jerusalem. She is a sought after vocal arts teacher, lecturer and opera director in Israel and abroad.
Since her debut as Morgana in Handel's Alcina, Rona Israel-Kolatt has performed on operatic stages throughout Germany including Giessen, Hamburg, Kaiserslautern, Dessau and Mainz.
She has directed the IMVAJ version of Mozart's Magic Flute, Pamina on the grass winning critical acclaim and a performance tour of Israel's prominent festivals, including the Abu-Gosh and Ralli festivals. This year she will direct Purcell's Dido and Aeneas and at Music Fest Perugia
Rona Israel-Kolatt teaches voice in the Levinsky college of education, lectures regularly on voice related topics on the Israeli radio and is a Doctoral student perusing voice and cognition at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
