Born in Macedonia Boris Trajanov begun his musical education with his singer father Goga Trajanov. Since his Debut in 1986 he has sang in more than 550 theatres and opera houses in the world, appearing in more than 35 roles under the baton of renowned conductors as Wolfgang Sawallisch, Daniel Oren and Marcelo Viotti and with colleagues such as Katia Ricciarelli and Luis Lima.His wide repertoire contains the most important roles of his fach and he is widely regarded as one of the best interpreters of the role of Scarpia in Puccini's Tosca. Boris Trajanov joined the music academy of Stip-based "Goce Delcev" University in 2008 where he established department of solo singing. He has received several national and international awards such as the 'Opera Oscar' award for best male artist of the Graz Opera. In 2005 he became a UNESCO Artist for Peace.
